Mike Matusow coming to the Silver Screen

In Spring 2006, the biggest poker motion picture ever to grace the silver screen will be coming to a theatre near you. "Lucky You," starring Drew Barrymore, Eric Bana and Robert Duval, has also gathered together dozens of poker's biggest names, who will be playing either themselves or fictional alter egos.

Mike will appear in the movie along with Jack Binion, Doyle Brunson, Johnny Chan, Hoyt Corkins, Antonio Esfandiari, Sam Farha, Chris Ferguson, Ted Forrest, Phil Hellmuth, Jennifer Harman, Dan Harrington, John Juanda, Jason Lester, Erick Lindgren, Daniel Negreanu, and Erik Seidel. In addition to making appearances in the film, Doyle Brunson and Tournament Director Matt Savage also offered their expert advice during filming. You may notice that alot of the names above are also Full Tilt Poker pros, are these folks the cream of the crop or what? Expect to hear alot out of this group!

Filming took place both in Las Vegas and in LA. Parts of the movie were filmed in the Bellagio, Binions and the Aladdin Casinos, while other parts relied on replicas of Benny's Bullpen at Binion's (the location of the WSOP until 2004) and the Bellagio poker room.
